The story of Olé Mexican Foods exemplifies the American Dream. With tradition passed down by her grandmother from her native Mexico, Veronica Moreno began selling homemade corn tortillas in her Atlanta neighborhood in 1988.

As a result of her unique vision and commitment to quality, word soon spread about her tortillas being the freshest, softest, and best tasting in town. Growing demand for these delicious tortillas led to the purchase of a small production facility, which allowed Veronica to launch her tortillas and other traditional Mexican products to the mainstream public. As demands continued, her husband and children joined her in the promise to deliver high-quality, authentic tortillas and Mexican foods.

Olé Mexican Foods was founded from humble beginnings by Veronica Moreno. For 30+ years she has led the way, guiding this multigenerational family-owned and operated business to become one of the largest tortilla companies in America.

Veronica’s pride and respect for Hispanic culture and traditions has been evident in Olé’s brand and products from the beginning. This unwavering dedication to authenticity was recognized when she was awarded Hispanic Business Woman of the Year by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. As a first-generation immigrant to the U.S., Veronica hopes her achievements inspire young female minority entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams.

Hard work and uncompromising commitment has led to Olé’s success, and as the next generation takes the lead within the company it will continue to proudly forge ahead.
