Ahi Tuna or Fish Mini Tacos

It's the number one use for a La Banderita's Mini Taquitos or our Mini Flour Tortillas (OLE #118 or #27123). Just add Ahi Tuna or grilled or fried fish of your choice, your signature tarter sauce and a little shredded lettuce. Try kicking up the flavor with Korean kimchi or guacamole.


  • 6 Olé Mini Flour Tortillas
  • 2 (5oz) Ahi Tuna Steaks
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ½ tbsps. Butter
  • ¼ tsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. whole peppercorn
  • 1 cup Mexican Blend Cheese, shredded
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Suggested sides: Tartar Sauce or Guacamole and a slice of lime


  • Place both tuna steaks on a plate; rub salt and cayenne pepper evenly on each side to season.
  • Heat skillet to medium-high heat, place butter and olive oil in, stir while melting.
  • Place peppercorns in and sauté until soften. Watch carefully as they may pop open in this process.
  • Place the seasoned tuna in skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Heat up tortillas as directed on packaging.
  • When cooked, cut steaks into small strips and place down the center of each tortilla.
  • Top each tortilla with lettuce and cheese evenly over tuna. Fold together and serve immediately.
